Customer Service Tips and Tricks

Outstanding customer service is an important quality for your business because it is what keeps customers coming back to you. We are going to talk about three main points for lash artists to follow so that they can create an exceptional business. The three steps are to care for your client, tailor to your clients needs, and make it a luxurious relaxing experience.  Keep reading to find out more about them.

1. Caring for Your Clients

Caring for your clients is one of the most important attributes you need for a successful business. It could be as little as asking your client if they are comfortable. By asking if they are comfortable they will feel more comfortable telling you if something is bothering them. Some examples of caring for your clients are being on time, asking if they need anything, giving them the best possible service, etc. Make sure that any time someone leaves your lash studio they know they are cared for and valued.

2. Tailor Your Service to Your Clients Needs

Every client has different expectations and needs and it is important that you know what each of them are. You need to talk to your clients and find out what they expect from you, then meet those expectations. For example, a working mom may need you to be able to do a fill in 1 hour. If you are incapable of this she might not be a good fit for you. Another example is one client might want to talk the whole way through the appointment, but your next client wants to lay there and take a nap or listen to their favorite podcast. You have to be able to tailor the experience given based on what your clients need individually.

3. Creating a Luxurious Relaxing Experience

Getting lash extensions is a luxury and can be pricey. This means you want your clients to feel like they are getting their money’s worth. Creating a luxurious experience means having a clean and neat lash area, comfortable room temperature, soothing under eye patches, being on time, welcoming them, having a place where they can put their things, sending a reminder text before their appointment, sending a thank you text after their appointment, etc. The list could go on and on but the point is to do actions that will set you apart.

Having these three customer service skills will help you stand out from the rest of the lash artists and draw clients to your business. Customer service can go a long way and lead your business to grow and flourish in ways you didn’t expect. I hope you were able to learn something new today about customer service.
