Many people ask how I got involved in the eyelash extension industry. My wife Haley and I decided to start this company while attending Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. My degree is in Mechanical Engineering and Haley’s degree is in Nursing. While in college, Haley was trained by a local eyelash company. After spending a lot of money for her poor training course and inadequate products, we were both frustrated with the company she had used. We could see the potential in the industry and the need for a quality company that could progress the industry with new and innovative products. Using my Mechanical Engineering skills, and her knowledge of eyelash extensions, we developed the first prototype for the Bella Lash Tile. After applying for a patent we pursued our new company and began introducing eyelash products. We started by ordering enough products from other companies to fill just two small ikea shelves in our spare bedroom. We designed and build our website and away we went. We began with humble intentions of only earning a few extra dollars each month to help out. I distincly remember saying to Haley, “Even if we could make an extra $800 per month I would be happy.”
I think what separates Bella Lash from any other eyelash company today is the fact that we re-invest so much into our product line. We are among the only lash companies that actually have a patent on any of the products that they sell. We are also one of the only companies that does their own research and development for their product and produces them in the USA. Although some of our products are still being manufactured for us overseas, each one of our manufacturers has proven their qualtiy controls and integrity with us before we begin working with them. Bella Lash demands some of the highest standards from its suppliers and also has its own unique formulations and design requirements for each of its products. We push ourselves, our products, and our training harder than anyone else to ensure that we are doing everything in our power to make each of our customers happy. I think that this care for detail can be seen in each one of our products.
Today we are growing faster than ever. We have been humbled by this and are thankful to each of our customers.
