Temperature and Humidity Control

The best temperature for your adhesive to be used AND stored in is 64 to 77 degrees and 40% to 60% humidity. If either the temperature or humidity are off, the viscosity and bond of your adhesive can be affected. We recommend purchasing a hygrometer/humidity gauge to place in your studio. This will help you change the temperature with fans, humidifiers and dehumidifiers. ¬†We promise you’ll notice such a difference in retention when using controlling temperatures. Keep in mind you may not need these tools year round.

Avoid Sunlight Exposure

While this may seem like a no-brainer, it is vital to keep your bottle of adhesive out of the sun. Often times, in sunlit studios, sun can directly hit the adhesive. It is vital that you put away your adhesive in a cool, dark place immediately after placing onto a jade stone.

Close the Lid

Exposing adhesive to the humid and hot oxygen could shorten the life of the adhesive. You will notice this happen when you see a thick and gummy consistency. Keep air from getting into your bottle by burping your bottle after every use.
